My mind is blown!!!!! I can't believe summer is almost over! Ahhhh!
Alright now since the Nerd Bowling activity lots has happened.
We've had lots of new members move into the ward.
And lots move out.
Sandy and I have got to know lots of GIRLS recently.
We went to Salt Lake City for a Free Parachute Concert (fighting pornography)
Sandy, Alisa, Jessica (one of the new girls we've became good friends with) Anna, and I.
At the concert there was this super cute couple just doing fun weird dance moves.
We joined in while Sandy took pictures.
Then on the way back to the car (parked all the way over by the gateway) we rode the train! Ahh! It was Anna, Jessica, and I's first time!
People from the Ward went to a Rodeo in Lehi!
It was 'Singles' Night and the Ward got some tickets. Sandy and I and some other friends from the Ward went too!
And we found a Llama on our way in! :)
Sandy is actually a Yankee's fan.
Alisa took this picture below of Sandy and I one morning. haha My bed, and she's wearing my shirt too! But could you NOT love that shirt (JB+$2=DI)
End of June was finally here. Alisa and Anna moved out of our apartment :( for a couple reasons, nothing bad at all we're still friends! One night Alisa, Sandy and I took a trip up to Draper to visit Haley. Her Sammy boy left for his mission that day we went to see her. I'm glad that we were able to give her support and our love. It's always nice to know that someone cares (besides your parents). And just try to get her mind off him for awhile (which is nearly impossible)
Luckily she has very good friend who stole her that morning.
Alright so the 4th of July is absolutely HUGE here in Provo. It's the only time where it's basically not the bubble inside the bubble. The only time it was, was on Sunday (go figure)
There was hot air balloons (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday) included being a pink flying pig and Darth Vader. Definitely going to the send off one day next year. Thursday night Jon came and knocked on our door (actually he usually always rings the doorbell) and invited Rachel and I to go light off some fireworks for BYU independence day haha. Basically that's what it was.
There's also this HUGE concert at the BYU Stadium, called the Stadium of Fire. It was theSaturday before the 4th. Included was fireworks. Lucky me I got to hear some of the music and watch the fireworks, all in walking distance. After the Stadium of Fire there was a cute little street dance, very family friendly. lol. It was great! Jessica and I went over to Troy/Jon/Nate/Matt/Jordan's Apartment because Jonathan started writing a song, for a special someone in my life. And I wanted to hear it. haha I heard it before she did. But it's not done yet. so it's all good.
Sunday well was church and Rachel and I were soo late. Relief Society was EMPTY so sad. Definitely not going to be skipping that for fun anytime soon. It made the presidency feel really bad. That night was Ward Prayer and traditional Tunnel Singing. Love it. Sadly Clarke, the person who has been in charge of Tunnel Singing for the past almost 2 years handed the torch down to a group of freshman. (He currently turned in his papers for his mission! YAY!)
After Tunnel Singing my newest BFF (Jonathan Martin) tricked me, and we went over to my Apt. to make cookies, but he jacked my BUMP sign! :( He finally noticed it was gone! Yes, they currently still have it. BOOO! Well our BFF cookies, were awesome, Jeatheron Cookies! :)
There's also a festival downtown which I never went too, and a Parade on the fourth (which I worked) After work however, Rachel and I had a little BBQ. Not many people came which is alright but it didn't help we left around 3pm to shower and such before our night plans.
Around 4(:30ish) we (Siara, Rachel, Nate, Jon and I) left for Sandy we went over to the Martin brother's family dinner for a little bit. Troy-Asian showed up and shortly after we headed over to their "secret spot". Oh what a spot!
First of all you hike pretty much to the top of a mountain! Then you go off the trail and onto this big Rock. We all just hung out until it got dark we watched some Youtube videos (yes we had internet in the mountains), we ate some junk food, took some pictures, and checked our Hero constantly in Godville. (it's this app/game for an Iphone/pod and Android and HTC phones. We are all Addicted. haha. It's soo cool! This little Hero you create just goes out and writes about it. It's awesome!
Johnny Boy looking cool.
Hey look! I AM TAN! haha
Sunset! Then the fireworks started! You could see sooo many! This year was the first year Aerial fireworks were allowed!! haha but apparently not bottle rockets or roman candles (lame!) And instead of looking up we were looking down the whole time. It was cool! Sadly though not too late it started sprinkling and then it got a little heavy so we packed up and left. By the time we got back to the trail it'd stopped raining. haha too late then. We went back to the car's for some reason Jon and I made it back before everyone else. Weird.
Fun thought: Rick is most likely in this picture. :)
So back to Raintree we went. And fireworks it was!! Rachel and I just got some simple ones, but it was still fun. We gather some more people and played with the fireworks. It was great.
Sandy came home Tuesday while I was attempting to make fried chicken. That took awhile, but I now know how to make it! :)
That night we were going to take off the forest from our balcony but it started raining. So Jon, Sandy and I went puddle jumping. Then took a dive into the pool. I jumped in with my boots on. Yes. Bad idea. haha. I survived, but I started sinking haha the boots were soo heavy it was great. I would say I'm sinking then fall under. Luckily Jon was always there to push me to the edge or to a spot where I could touch hahahahha. sooo Funny!
Wednesday, Sandy and I worked out! YES!!! and then came home and cleared the branches off the balcony and then dragged them to the fire pit. SUCH A MESS. One of our friend's Kelsey was stressing out about it. It was cute. We called it good enough and got ready to go Country Dancing (swing dancing) and it was great!! Jessica came with Sandy and I. And the creeps stayed away! haha. It was a good night. Jessica, and Sandy got out and jacked street cones. that went into my car and we took a very detoured route home. haha
Thursday we worked out again. ^ Hehehehehe. Yes at the gym. And i'm pretty sure I was more sore after the second day. Then we came home showered and went to Relief Society. Which was great! It's way too bad more Ladies didn't show up. We had pizza and ice cream and wrote a fairy tale. Which was soo funny. but such a sad ending. Sandy and I went over to our (boy) friend's apt and gave them the tale hahaha. We hadn't been around them for awhile. And before we went over Sandy and switched shirts behind the mailboxes hahahahahahah. Then after we left their apt. We switched back. (there's another story with this) After we decided to try a bonfire with our branches. Fail. it was wet, and we didn't have nearly enough lighter fluid. ha.
Well after we went to say hello to Jon, and turns out he "had a dream" we changed shirts outside his window. Oh great. Yes. that did happen. Oh man. Embrassing. ha
Friday night (last night) was pure girl night. Sandy, Aubrey, and JayLynn (they're in our ward and live across from us right now) Went out for sushi, and then there was an free outdoor movie at BYU. So we grabbed Kelsey Brittany and Jessica, and then Aubrey and JayLynn went back to their apt. We headed over to BYU and got a pretty cute spot. The movie was "UP." Love it and I've NEVER seen the beginning haha. Later Jon came over and jacked our cone :( but we got it back :) still no BUMP sign though........
Well work is going pretty good. I'm getting enough hours, but I'm really hoping to land a full time job a vivint either customer support or sales. Jon works there and really likes it and Aubrey and JayLynn work there too and like it so far (they're in training still) If I get this job i'll be keeping my McDonald's job as part time. Like I did during the school year. Two jobs will be nice.
I'm currently hoping and praying my car makes it Home. Pretty dang positive there's a leak in the coolant somewhere. But I am soooo psyched to go home!! It'll be great to see everyone, My Mom, Dad, Luke (who can talk now and is more like a boy than a baby!) and Sarah and well my brothers I guess haha. Bryan and Matthew told me they missed me awhile back while Mom and Dad were at Jeremy's ball game. It'll also be SOOOO AMAZING to see the Nauvoo Temple. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! And I really hope we get to baptisms in it. I just miss it so much. Ohhhhhhhh and the Pageant it never fails to bring back the Ol' City of Joseph Pageant growing up. Actually I just love Old Nauvoo and the spirit that I've always felt there. Plus it is my home stake. Oh those Youth Dances... ha
T-Minus 2 Weeks!!!!!!!
